Brewers Sweet Grain

This blend has been formulated to supply you with a 40% dry matter mix, while still maintaining the great benefits of Brewers Grains.

When the use of Brewers Grains is not feasible, Brewers Sweet Grain is the feed to use. Features are-

• No free-water, therefore, no loss of weight by runoff.
• The blend still has 70% Brewers Grains, thus retaining the inherent benefits of high palatability, “Space Filling Fibre”, 20% protein (mostly bi-pass), and ME of 11.5 MJ/Kg.
• Guaranteed year-round availability.
• Safe to feed straight to the cow.
• Ease of use.

Brewers plus Starch

If you’re after milk protein as well as milk volume, this is the blend for you. Benefits are-

• Increased starch/sugar levels have a strong positive impact on milk protein. This is especially true in the winter and spring, when grasses contain high protein but low sugar levels. The solution to this problem is Brewers plus Starch, which provides a safe fibre, rich starch/sugar supplement to promote microbial protein production, which in turn gives higher milk protein.
• This blend has been formulated to meet the high standards expected from our clients by our qualified nutritionists (in conjunction with advice from renowned dairy nutritionist Dr. Bob Elliott).
• The starch/sugar level is all-important, and we guarantee a minimum of 30% (on a dry matter basis).
• The optimal protein level of 15% supports this high starch level.
• Guaranteed year-round availability.

Brewers plus Starch provides you with the “best of both worlds” by utilizing Brewers Grains in the blend to improve milk production (because of its unique “Space filling Fibre” feature) as well as the starch/sugars to assist in higher milk protein.

We can also custom mix to meet any further needs you may have. For example, if you need a complete feed with vitamins and minerals, or a Transition Feed with the appropriate additives included.

FEEDING GUIDE
Brewers Sweet Grain is suitable for supplementary feeding
or as an ingredient in total mixed rations for dairy, beef cattle and sheep.
Dairy Cow
Recommended daily intake up to 25.0% of total dry matter intake. E.g. 20kg total daily DM intake = 12.5kg of BSG as fed or 5.0kg of BSG on a DM basis.
Sheep
Recommended daily intake up to 10.0% of total dry matter intake.
Beef
Recommended daily intake up to 20.0% of total dry matter intake.

AVAILABILITY
Brewers Sweet Grain is available on a long term and regular basis for those clients wishing to secure ongoing supply. Supplies of the product may be contracted or purchased on a spot basis subject to availability. Those clients who sign contracts will be guaranteed supply.
