It has a high level of digestible fibre and a most useful protein level. With an upper feeding limit of 3kg per cow per day. Whole White Cottonseed has a terrific combination of nutrients. With a high digestibility level and a high oil content, this co-product has an excellent Metabolisable Energy level. It is one of the major protein sources used throughout America and Europe. Soybean Meal can be fed as a sole protein ingredient but is best used in a mixed ration. It can be fed at up to 4kg per day, however, is more commonly included at rates between 1-1.5kg per day depending upon individual dietary requirements.
